The Council
It is Baroque style and has a portico. The facade is made of brick and the balcony is made of wrought iron.
Following the fire of 1503 that completely destroyed Tolosa, a decision was taken to build the council house and the Plaza Vieja. Both were created between 1657 and 1672, to do so 5 plots from the Middel Ages were purchased, two in order to construct the building and another three in order to create the plaza on the front area: Plaza Vieja.
