Get to know the 3 temples of Tolosa and the old town with a guide

As part of the idea of expanding the cultural offer during the summer months, the Tourist Office has presented a series of guided tours, aimed both at tourists who decide to visit our municipality and the people of Tolosa who stay in town this summer, where in addition to getting to know the streets of the Old District of Tolosa and the Saturday Market, they can also get to know the 3 "temples" of Tolosa from the inside. The Old District of Tolosa, its Saturday market, the Church of the Convent of Santa Clara, the Parish Church of San Francisco and the Parish Church of Santa María will be the highlights of these visits.

As in previous years, this summer, all visitors who come to Tolosa, as well as the people from Tolosa who spend their holidays in town, will have the opportunity to visit the most beloved streets and buildings of the municipality in the guided tours offered by the Tourist Office. In total there will be 4 different guided tours: the Old District of Tolosa, the Market of Tolosa, the 3 temples of Tolosa as well as the vault of the Parish Church of Santa Maria.

The guided tour of the 3 "temples" of Tolosa will last two hours and will be conducted from Monday to Saturday starting at the Tourist Office of Tolosaldea. Visitors will be able to visit the Virgin of Iurre, the altars and other works of art in the convent of Santa Clara. The Parish Church of San Francisco will exhibit the altars, the organ and all the treasures hidden inside the parish, and in the Parish Church of Santa Maria you can visit the organ, the sculptures, the paintings as well as the vault of Santa Maria.

On the other hand, from Monday to Saturday it will be possible to visit the Old District of Tolosa, and Tolosaldea Tour has organised visits to the Market that is held on Saturdays in the main squares of Tolosa, for 3 euros.

 

Timetables and Schedule

Visits will be organised by the Tourist Office of Tolosa and will be available from the 1st of July.

From Monday to Wednesday 2 different guided tours will be conducted: the Old District of Toulouse (10:00) and the 3 temples of Toulouse (11:30), with a duration of 1:25h and 2:00h, correspondingly.

On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays 4 guided tours will be conducted: the Old District of Tolosa (10:00 and 17:30), the 3 temples of Tolosa (11:30) as well as the vault of the Parish Church of Santa María de Tolosa (16:00), with a duration of 1:25h, 2: 00h and 1:00h, correspondingly.
