Oria

This zinc sculpture is part of the “Oria River” series. It is a series formed by seven works placed in seven towns along the Oria river.

The Plough

Basterretxea plays with the idea of a gigantic plough, which is intended to be a tribute to the rural world.

It is one of Oteiza´s largest sculptures. He defined it in the following way: “it is an open construction with three positive-negative units.”

In the wind

This is an aluminium sculpture hung from a cable, that plays with the designs of the two pieces that form leather Basque pelota balls.
