The popular festival will come to Tolosa on Saturday 11 May. From very early in the morning, the aroma of the grills will fill Plaza Euskal Herria. There, international chefs from Chile, Turkey and Uruguay, alongside local chefs will offer live grill cooking sessions.
Also, they will hand out tapas such as suckling pig, chop chistorra, original Kebab or Chilean style lamb, among others. You can consult the time and day that each tapas will be served at. And don´t worry, the tickets will be put on sale at the time.
There will also be a space targeted at enthusiasts, that will reveal secrets such as how to correctly grill a chop. This will be carried out by the people in charge of the four grill houses of Tolosa: Casa Julián, Casa Nicolás, Burruntzi and Botarri. However, it is necessary to register.
The big meal of the Chop Menu will be the climax of the party, on Sunday 12 May. As with the celebrations of the Chop Festival, the market will be transformed into a large dining room, where the grill chefs of Tolosa will offer the traditional menu of their grill houses. And of course, chops will be their main dish! Pay attention, because tickets are being snapped up quickly!

And why in Tolosa?

Txomin Parrilla (Basque Country): Grilled beef, technique created for the occasion.
12:00-13:30. SUA Space: inside the Tolosa grill house.
Gastronomic experience to discover and savour the traditional txuleta (chop) of Tolosa, alongside its grill chefs. They will show cutting techniques, how to light the grill and ways of grilling. There will be a tasting afterwards
